At Solari, we are experiencing a moment that few companies have the privilege to encounter: we are celebrating 300 years of history. Three centuries marked by flashes of ingenuity, vision, and design. From 1725 to today, we have travelled a path defined by continuous evolution, solid roots, and a constant outlook toward the future.
To mark this special anniversary, the Italian Ministry of Business and Made in Italy (@mimit_gov) has honored us with the issuance of a special commemorative stamp.
The stamp illustration features a red Cifra3, the iconic split-flap table clock from the 1960s, designed by two absolute masters: Gino Valle and Massimo Vignelli. An object that has become a symbol of an era and of our identity—our ability to combine aesthetics and functionality in a unique and unmistakable way.
From that small workshop in Pesariis, where the Solari brothers first began crafting tower clocks, we have grown while keeping our bond with tradition alive. Today, just as then, we carry forward the same values that have guided us for three centuries: the drive to innovate, the commitment to technological progress, the respect for our origins, and above all, the deeply human emotion that time brings with it.
As our Chairman, Massimo Paniccia, reminded us, this milestone belongs not only to our company, but to all the people who, generation after generation, have believed in us, contributed, built, and dreamed.
Today, at SOLARI SPA, we celebrate not only 300 years of history, but 300 years of future.
